Fitz and the Tantrums are the life of the party in ‘Don’t Ever Let Em’

Fitz and the Tantrums have returned with the latest single off their new studio album. On Wednesday (April 17), the Los Angeles-founded band unleashed the music video for their new tune, “Don’t Ever Let Em.”

The barely three-minute clip finds vocalists Michael Fitzpatrick and Noelle Scaggs in a house littered with evidence of a successful party. Balloons, streamers, used plastic cups, and partygoers scatter the place while Fitzpatrick and Scaggs lounge about the house, singing the song. As night begins to fall around them, the party comes back to life.

“Don’t Ever Let Em” joins previously released track “123456” on the band’s much-anticipated fourth studio album. Though the album has yet to be given a formal name or a release date, fans can assume it will see a spring/summer 2019 release date; just in time for their upcoming tour.

In support of the yet-to-be-titled record, Fitz and the Tantrums previously announced plans to embark on an extensive summer tour with Young the Giant. The cross-country trek begins on June 12 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado and concludes two months later on Aug. 16 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center in Las Vegas.

COIN and Alice Merton will open for the bands during the excursion. COIN will play the role of supporting act during the June and July shows while Alice Merton will take over during the August shows.
