Marina has returned with another new single from her impending fourth studio album, and it sounds like it could easily find a home on your summer playlist. On Friday (March 22), the Welsh singer shared “Orange Trees,” her third single from her forthcoming double album.
The Sophie Muller-directed clip is described as “a colorful, ethereal energy, capturing the mood and themes of ‘Orange Trees’ through a summery Mexican backdrop.” The description holds true as the viewer watches Marina in a beautiful coastal paradise surrounded by colorful scenery as she relaxes with some of her friends on the Mexican coast.
“I wrote ‘Orange Trees’ about the island that my family and I are from in Greece,” Marina writes. “It’s called Lefkada and it’s my favourite place in the world… I always feel at peace there. It’s like my body/ biology recognises I’m back home.”

“Orange Trees” joins previously released tracks “Handmade Heaven” and “Superstar” on Marina’s upcoming double album, LOVE + FEAR. “Orange Trees” is reportedly featured on the LOVE collection.
LOVE + FEAR is due out April 26 through Neon Gold/Atlantic Records. LOVE + FEAR is the follow-up to 2015’s FROOT. Pre-orders for the collection can be found here.
In support of the new album’s release, Marina previously announced plans to embark on a month-long North American tour. The tour begins on Sept. 10 at Rebel Toronto and concludes on Oct. 9 at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver. Marina’s full tour itinerary can be found here.
Earlier this week, the songstress revealed that she will appear at The School of Life for a special one-off event. Life Lessons with Marina will find the musician speaking with clinical psychologist Tanya Byron.
