Alice Cooper and Halestorm to embark on massive summertime tour

Alice Cooper and Halestorm are about to give the United States one rocking tour later this summer. On Monday (March 4), the iconic shock rocker and the Pennsylvania-founded band announced plans to embark on a massive co-headlining tour later this year.

The co-headlining trek will find the two acts traveling and performing at venues across the country throughout July and August. The 19-stop jaunt will include shows in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Kansas City, Houston, Nashville, and more. The forthcoming outing will begin on July 17 at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania and concludes a month later on Aug. 16 at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey.

“We are beyond excited to announce our new tour with the man who burnt the rule book on Rock ‘n’ Roll…Alice Cooper,” Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale said via a press statement,

“Alice is our A in the ABC’s of Rock music, and we are honored to be sharing the stage with such a legend and his incredible band. School’s definitely out!”

Alice Cooper adds: “We’ve played festivals with Halestorm, including Rock in Rio, and now I’m excited about doing this summer tour with Lzzy and the band. Can’t wait to get to the first show.”

Motionless in White will join the two bands throughout the excursion as their direct supporting act.

Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale this Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. local time, though there will be several pre-sale options before general ticket sales begin.
