After dropping hints on social media over the course of the past few days, Bring Me the Horizon have finally gifted fans the complete version of their latest single. On Thursday (Jan. 3), the British band unleashed the third single from their upcoming sixth studio album, Amo. Titled “Medicine,” the new song finds the band shedding their screamo/hardcore roots for something a little softer, melodic, and poppy. Listen to “Medicine” above.
“Medicine” will join previously released tracks “Wonderful Life” featuring Cradle of Filth’s Dani Filth and lead single “MANTRA” on Bring Me the Horizon’s upcoming sixth studio album, Amo. Amo is due out Jan. 25 through Sony. Originally scheduled for a Jan. 11 release date, the band announced late last year that the album’s release was pushed back two weeks. Pre-orders for the new record are currently available on the band’s website.
In support of Amo‘s release, the band will embark on a month-long North American tour later this month. The North American leg of the “First Love” tour will begin on Jan. 23 at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville and conclude a couple of weeks later on Feb. 19 at the Joint in Las Vegas. The tour will include support from Thrice and the Fever 333.
