Do you find yourself running after feral cats screaming “let me love you”? Do you spend a large chunk of your days going down the YouTube rabbit hole of cat videos and memes? Do your friends buy you cat-centric items for every gift giving occasion? Well, if you answered yes to any of those questions then we’ve got the purr-fect convention just for you.

On Tuesday (Dec. 11), the second annual Catsbury Park Cat Convention was announced. Set to take place during the weekend of April 13-14 in Asbury Park, New Jersey, the upcoming event will be bigger and better than the inaugural shindig. Featuring celebrity cats, adoptable felines, DJs, games, activities, art, vendors, presentations, seminars, comedians, tattoos, tasty vegetarian food, and more, the cat-centric event will have a little bit of everything for your friendly neighborhood kitty lover.

Headlining the two-day event will be internet famous kitty Lil Bub and Kitty Lady herself, Hannah Shaw. Shaw will appear on Saturday (April 13) while Lil Bub will strut his stuff throughout the convention center on Sunday (April 14). Joining Shaw and Lil Bub at the convention will be Klaus, Paul the Cat Guy, Sir Thomas Trueheart, Cat Man of West Oakland, Stache, and more.

As with the first annual gathering, the CPCC’s goal is to “find forever homes for our lovely feline friends as well as host seminars about rescue, kitten care, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), and more.” This year’s expanded space will allow for more attendees to interact with cats who are available for adoption.

If you were hoping to get your hands on some early bird tickets, then sadly, the cats beat you to them. The good news? General admission tickets will go on sale beginning this Friday, Dec. 14. Tickets for the event will include entry into most Catsbury Park-branded panels, discussions, and events. For some special events, an additional ticket will be required.

The inaugural Catsbury Park Cat Convention took place in April of this year and drew over 5,000 attendees from all over the country. Thanks to those who attended, the convention raised over $40,000 which was donated to Catsbury ParkThe Brodie FundHumane Society Tinton FallsJersey Shore Animal FoundationCamden County ShelterPaul the Cat GuyNorth Shore Animal League and Asbury Park Boardwalk Cats.
