Against the Current announce new tour dates for 2019, drop video for ‘The Fuss’

Against the Current spent most of the year on the road, touring nonstop behind their at-the-time new album. Now, it looks like the trio’s 2019 is going to look a lot like 2018 with a slew of tour dates in their future. On Monday (Dec. 10), the New York-founded band announced plans to embark on a short North American tour in the springtime.

The upcoming trek will find the trio performing at venues across the continent throughout the months of March and April.

Dubbed the Past Lives tour —after their recently released record— the excursion will include stops in Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and New York. The 22-stop jaunt will begin on March 22 at the Masquerade in Atlanta and conclude a month later on April 20 at the U Street Music Hall in Washington D.C.

Supporting acts for the forthcoming excursion have yet to be announced. Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on sale beginning this Friday, Dec. 14.

The impending trek will be in support of the band’s recently released record, Past Lives. The album, the group’s sophomore studio effort, was released in September through Fueled By Ramen.

In conjunction with the 2019 North American Past Lives tour announcement, the group has released the music video for their latest single, “The Fuss.” Watch the almost-three-minute clip above.

“The Fuss” joins previously released singles “Strangers Again,” “Almost Forgot,” “Personal,” and “Voices” on Past Lives.
