If you were not able to get tickets to Shinedown’s upcoming set of intimate shows, then the band has some good news for you. On Monday (Dec. 3), the Florida-founded act announced the addition of nine intimate shows for the month of May. Dubbed “An Evening with Shinedown,” the impending mini tour will kick off on May 6 at the Fillmore in New Orleans and conclude two weeks later on May 22 at the Midland Theatre in Kansas City.
The upcoming trek will also include several two-night engagements in select cities including Atlanta (May 7 and 8 at the Coca Cola Roxy), Myrtle Beach (May 10 and 11 at the House of Blues), and Nashville (May 13 and 14 at the Ryman Auditorium).
As per a press statement from the band, “An Evening with Shinedown” will offer fans an exclusive, up-close-and-personal experience to counter the band’s huge, eye-popping arena shows.
Fan club pre-sales will begin this Tuesday (Dec. 4) at 10 a.m. local time while venue and radio pre-sales will be available this Thursday (Dec. 6) at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales will begin this Friday (Dec. 7) at 10 a.m. local time.
“An Evening with Shinedown” is in support of the band’s recently released record, Attention Attention. With this new album, the band has broken several music-related records. Their current single, “Get Up,” has broken the record for “Most Rock Airplay Top 10s Ever” while the album simultaneously landed the top spot on Billboard‘s Alternative, Top Rock, and Hard Rock Albums charts.
The news of the additional tour dates comes a short while after the band was confirmed as one of the many rock bands set to invade Jacksonville for the ninth annual Welcome to Rockville music festival. Joining Shinedown on the 2019 bill are Rob Zombie, Tool, Evanescence, Chevelle, Bring Me the Horizon, the Prodigy, Incubus, and more.
