Max Frost announces ‘Gold Rush’ tour for early 2019

Fresh off his massive opening gig on Twenty One Pilots’ recently wrapped tour, Max Frost has announced plans to embark on his own excursion in the new year. On Tuesday (Nov. 27), the Texas-born musician unveiled his tour itinerary for the spring which will find him touring across the continent throughout the months of March and April. Dubbed the “Gold Rush” tour, the trek will include stops in San Francisco, Denver, Cleveland, Boston, Toronto, Washington D.C., New York, and more.

The “Gold Rush” tour will kick off on March 1 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California and conclude a little over a month later on April 10 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. Tickets for all announced dates go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, Nov. 30.
The upcoming tour will be in support of Frost’s recently released record, Gold Rush. The album, the musician’s debut record, was released in October through Atlantic Records. Gold Rush was produced by Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick of Fitz and the Tantrums.

The success of the album and lead single “Good Morning” resulted in Frost being asked to open for Twenty One Pilots during the first, sold out North American leg of the “Bandito” world tour.

Frost will conclude the year with a handful of performances at a series of radio-sponsored holiday concerts including Denver’s Channel 93.3’s Not So Silent Night (Nov. 30), Tampa’s 97X’s Next Big Thing Festival (Dec. 2), Orlando’s WQMP Holiday Concert (Dec. 3), Richmond’s XL 102 Miracle On Broad Street (Dec. 4), Buffalo’s WLKK’s The Kerfuffle Before Christmas (Dec. 5), and Syracuse’s 95X-TRA Pale Ale Launch Party (Dec. 6).
