Months after teasing a massive tour schedule for the new year, Muse has finally confirmed those stops and venues. On Monday (Nov. 5), the United Kingdom-funded band unveiled their lengthy tour itinerary for 2019. The upcoming trek will find the trio performing at venues across the world during the months of January, February, March, April, May, June, and July.
Named the Simulation Theory world tour (after their impending new album), the North American portion of the world tour will begin on Feb. 22 at the Toyota Center in Houston. After spending almost two months traveling across the United States and Canada, the North American leg will conclude on April 10 at the TD Garden in Boston.
Following a month-long break in April and most of May, the trio will once again hit the road, but this time across the pond in Europe. The European leg of the Simulation Theory tour will begin on May 26 at Letiste Letnany in Prague and conclude two months later on July 26 at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.
More tour dates will be announced at a later date.
Taking to Twitter, the group announced the massive tour itinerary with a simple message reading “Muse are pleased to announce the 2019 Simulation Theory World Tour!” In addition to the short message, the group also posted a minute-long video announcing the forthcoming trek.
Pre-sales for the upcoming tour will go on sale next Tuesday, Nov. 13 while general ticket sales will begin a few days later on Friday, Nov. 16. Fans who pre-order Muse’s new album will get first dibs on tickets.
The lengthy tour will be in support of Muse’s upcoming new album, Simulation Theory. The record, the band’s eighth studio effort, is due out this Friday, Nov. 9. Pre-orders for the new record are still available on Muse’s website.
