After a year of nonstop touring, it doesn’t look like Tonight Alive are planning on slowing down in the new year. On Tuesday (Oct. 30), the Australian band unveiled a lengthy North American tour itinerary that will find them performing across the continent during the months of January and February. Titled the Underworld tour (after their recently released record), the upcoming trek will include stops in Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, Baltimore, New York City, Chicago, Salt Lake City, and Denver.
The Underworld tour will begin on Jan. 18 at the Garden Grove in Garden Grove, California and conclude a month and a half later on Feb. 24 at the Roxy in Los Angeles. I the Mighty and Doll Skin will join Tonight Alive during the full excursion.
In addition to the tour dates, the band also revealed that they will perform a handful of special ten-year anniversary gigs to celebrate ten years of the band. The special shows will take place in select cities (Santa Ana, New York, Boston, Denver, and Los Angeles) and will consist of an acoustic set.
“Good morning North American angel humans!,” begins the band’s post on Twitter. “It’s about time we brought the Underworld tour over to you. Conscious Rock gigs with I the Mighty and Doll Skin with special 10-year anniversary acoustic shows in selected cities!”
Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale beginning this Friday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. local time.
Prior to embarking on the North American leg of the Underworld tour, Tonight Alive will conclude 2018 with the United Kingdom leg of the trek.
The Underworld tour is in support of the group’s recently released record, Underworld. Underworld was released in January of 2018 through Hopeless Records. For now, the band’s full North American tour itinerary can be seen below.
