The upcoming tour will find the act performing at venues across the continent including stops in Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver. The forthcoming excursion will begin on Feb. 10 with a two-night engagement at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn. The 16-stop tour will then conclude a little under a month later on March 5 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Following a few weeks off, Beirut will continuing the touring extravaganza by heading across the pond for the European leg of the tour. The European shows will begin on March 30 with a two-night engagement at the Funkhaus in Berlin and conclude a few weeks later in April 19 at the Volkshaus in Zurich. Tickets can be found on the band’s website here.

The upcoming tour will be in support of Beirut’s new studio album. Titled Gallipoli, the new record is due out Feb. 1, 2019 through 4AD. Gallipoli is the follow-up to the band’s 2015 release, No No No. The forthcoming fifth studio effort marks the group’s first new album in three years.

According to the band’s head honcho Zach Condon, the record was recorded across the globe including places such as New York City, Puglia, Italy, and Berlin. Gallipoli was produced by No No No producer, Gabe Wax. Pre-orders for Gallipoli can be found here.

In conjunction with the new album announcement, Condon gave fans a sneak peek at what to expect from the record by releasing the album’s lead single and title track, “Gallipoli.” The song, and album, was named after the Italian town where Condon wrote the track.
