Walk the Moon have spent most of the year on the road, but that hasn’t stopped them from giving fans new music videos periodically. On Wednesday (Oct. 24), the Ohio-founded band unleashed the music video for their latest single, “Tiger Teeth.” The almost-five-minute music video was shot while the group was on tour in Japan.
The cinematic clip combines concert footage, a trip through a forest, some dancing in the brightly lit city, and a ride on the subway as the guys perform the song. According to a post by the band on Twitter, the music video for the fan-favorite song is a love letter to those who have shown unrelenting love for the four-piece.
“From some blurry concert footage, to a studio recording, to a video shot in japan – you all made this happen. Your enthusiasm and support brought this song to life. So here it is… the tiger teeth music video… a visual love note from us to you,” the band’s post reads.
“Tiger Teeth” was directed by Dusty Kessler (the band’s tour photographer) and Eric Maldin. Watch the beautiful video for “Tiger Teeth” above.
“Tiger Teeth” joins the band’s previously released singles “One Foot,” “Headphones,” “Surrender,” and “Kamikaze” on their recently released record, What If Nothing. What If Nothing was released in November of 2017 via RCA Records.
What If Nothing peaked at the number three spot on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums chart and number five on Billboard‘s Top Rock albums chart. The record went on the peak at the number 40 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
Walk the Moon will hit the North American touring circuit once more at the beginning of 2019. The band’s previously announced 2019 headlining tour will begin with a two-night engagement at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville on Jan. 23 and 24 and conclude almost a month later on Feb. 17 at the Mill & Mine in Knoxville. Bear Hands will act as supporting act throughout the upcoming tour.
