Armed with a brand new acoustic album, Bayside are ready to hit the touring circuit later this year. On Monday (Aug. 20), the New York-founded band announced plans to hit the road during the months of November, December, January, and February. The upcoming full band acoustic tour will begin on Nov. 24 at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago and conclude several months later on Feb. 2 at the Cowan in Nashville.
According to Bayside’s announcement post on social media, their sets will consist of completely re-imagined versions of their songs.
“To celebrate the release of our new Acoustic record, we’re going on a very special tour. Our first full US, full band acoustic tour with a full set of completely re-imagined songs,” the band writes.
Gold will open for Bayside during the four-month excursion. VIP and pre-sale tickets are currently available while general admission tickets will go on sale this Friday, Aug. 24.
The newly announced intimate acoustic tour will be in support of the group’s forthcoming acoustic album, Acoustic Volume 2. The impending record is due out Sept. 28 through Hopeless Records. Pre-orders are currently available on the band’s website. Acoustic Volume 2 is the follow-up to 2006’s Acoustic.
Last week, the band formally announced the release of the new album by unveiling the music video for the album’s lead single, “It Don’t Exist.” Watch the music video for the new song above while the complete 2018/2019 tour itinerary can be seen below.
