Panic! at the Disco have returned with yet another new song from their upcoming new studio album, Pray for the Wicked. On Wednesday (May 23), the Las Vegas-founded band unleashed their brand new track, “High Hopes,” following days of teasing and cryptic posts on social media.
Taking to Twitter, frontman Brendon Urie sounded off about the new, anthemic track: “I spent too long not setting my expectations high enough, worried about how it felt to fail. I hit a point when I realized I had to aim high and fail, fail, fail in order to keep growing. This one is for all of you who helped me go for it all. I thank you.” Listen to “High Hopes” above.
“High Hopes” will join previously released tracks “(F*** A) Silver Lining” and lead single “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” on Panic! at the Disco’s forthcoming sixth studio album. Pray for the Wicked is due out on June 22 through the band’s longtime home of Fueled By Ramen. Pre-orders for Pray for the Wicked are available here.
In support of Pray for the Wicked’s release, the group will embark on their massive Pray for the Wicked summer tour beginning July. The tour will kick off July 11 at the Target Center in Minneapolis and conclude a little over a month later on Aug. 18 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The complete list of tour dates can be found here.
