Watch Céline Dion and Deadpool exchange words in ‘Ashes’ video’

What happens when you combine two of Canada’s biggest and best exports (not maple syrup)? One funny music video. On Thursday (May 3), Céline Dion was confirmed as one of the many artists to have a song featured on the upcoming Deadpool 2: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. In conjunction with the announcement, the iconic songstress released the official music video for “Ashes.”

Like most of Dion’s videos, the clip features the singer doing what she does best; singing the ballad inside of a darken theater as footage from the film are interwoven with footage of her singing. The funny moments begins when Deadpool is seen in the same theater on the stage where Dion is currently residing. As she sings the song, the camera follows the anti-superhero as he performs an interpretive dance while in heels.

As if that wasn’t funny enough, just wait until the end of the clip when Dion and the Merc with a Mouth have a little bit of an exchange of words. Just keep an eye out for “beat it, Spider-Man!” Watch the music video for “Ashes” above.

In addition to Dion’s new song, the 12-track soundtrack will also include a new song from French Montana titled “Welcome to the Party” featuring  Diplo, Lil Pump and Zhavia Ward. The film’s soundtrack will also feature songs from DJ Shadow and Run the Jewels, Peter Gabriel, a-ha, Cher, Dolly Parton, Air Supply, Pat Benatar, Alicia Morton, and Skrillex.
