A week after premiering the second single from their upcoming third studio album, 5 Seconds of Summer have returned with the song’s official music video. On Thursday (April 26), the Australian band debuted the music video for the record’s title track, “Youngblood.” The almost three-and-a-half-minute black-and-white clip is reminiscent of the photographs the band has been posting on their social media accounts since officially announcing the release of the brand new set of tunes.
The video features a combination of the four-piece performing on stage, their behind-the-scenes antics, them playing tourists around the world, and the reason they are able to travel the world, their fans. The video’s footage is taken from the band’s video diary which followed them on their 5SOS3 intimate venue tour. Watch the music video for “Youngblood” above.
“Youngblood” will join lead single “Want You Back” on 5 Seconds of Summer’s impending new album. Youngblood will be released on June 22 through Capitol Records. Pre-orders for the new album are currently available on the band’s website. All pre-orders will receive and instant download of “Youngblood.”
In support of Youngblood‘s release, the quartet recently announced a massive, large venue North American tour for the late summer months. The “Meet You There” tour will kick off on Aug. 27 at RBC Echo Beach in Toronto and conclude about a month and a half later on Oct. 12 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Each ticket sold will include a copy of Youngblood. The complete “Meet You There” tour itinerary can be found here.
