Almost two weeks after unleashing the music video for their latest single, 5 Seconds of Summer are back with the acoustic version of the track. On Friday (April 6), the Australian band shared with fans their simplistic clip for the acoustic version of “Want You Back.” The barely three-minute clip finds the guys arranged in a circle in what appears to be a dimly lit living room.
In the middle of the circle is a camera that pans on each member throughout the video. Much like the music video for the original version of the tune, the guys are illuminated by a rainbow-color of lights. Watch the video for the acoustic version of “Want You Back” above.
The acoustic version of “Want You Back” is currently available on Spotify for streaming.
“Want You Back” is the first single off 5 Seconds of Summer’s much-anticipated third studio album. The new record will reportedly see a release time frame of 2018, though an official title and release date have yet to be announced. At the present time, the band and their fanbase are referring to the new record as “5SOS3.”
In support of the new record, the band announced back in late February that they had plans to hit the road during the spring months for their 5SSO3 World Tour. The complete list of upcoming tour dates can be found here.
