Nine Inch Nails add pair of North American shows to upcoming tour

If you had plans on seeing Nine Inch Nails any time this year in North America, then you better act fast. On Monday (March 26), the Ohio-founded band announced a pair of concerts at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The two shows will be the group’s only North American tour stops this summer while the rest of tour will find them performing across Europe.

The two newly added shows will take place on June 13 and June 15 right before they head across the pond for their previously announced tour. According to the band’s website and social media pages, the Vegas dates will be their only North American stops this summer, though there is no word if other dates will be added for the fall months. Tickets for the shows will go on sale beginning this Friday, March 30, at 10 a.m. PST.

The Las Vegas shows will jumpstart the band’s massive summertime music festival tour across Europe. Nine Inch Nail’s European music festival itinerary will include performances at London’s Meltdown Festival, Prague’s Aerodrome Festival, Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival, and Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival.

The upcoming tour will be in support of the group’s third and final installment of their trilogy. The band previously released the first installment, Not the Actual Events, in late 2016 and the second installment, Add Violence, in July of 2017. According to an interview on BBC Radio 6, frontman Trent Reznor confirmed that the third installment will be released before the band embarks on their summer tour in June.

“We’re in the process of finishing this right now and should be out before the shows take place,” Reznor told the host.

No confirmed release date or title has been given for the trilogy’s final album.
