Less than a week after announcing the release of his third solo album, Jack White has confirmed plans to hit the road in support of the new record. On Tuesday (Jan. 16), the White Stripes frontman unveiled a slew of tour dates which will find him performing across the globe in countries including the United States, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom. The tour will kick off on April 19 at the Little Caesars Arena in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. The lengthy tour itinerary will then conclude over four months later on Aug. 23 at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
White’s extensive tour schedule also includes his multiple music festival appearances at such events as Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Festival, Boston Calling, and New York’s Governors Ball.
Last week, White finally confirmed the release of his upcoming new album, Boarding House Reach, following months of fan speculation and a cryptic teaser video. In addition to the album confirmation, the musician also debuted two songs from the record, “Connected By Love” (which can be seen above) and “Respect Commander.”
Boarding House Reach is set to be released on March 23 through Third Man Records / Columbia Records. Boarding House Reach is the follow-up to White’s 2014 album, Lazaretto.
