With a handful of days left before Christmas officially arrives, Panic! at the Disco is giving their loyal fan base an early gift. On Wednesday (Dec. 20), the Las Vegas-founded band unleashed a brand new, standalone Christmas jam named “Feels Like Christmas.” The barely three-minute-long song takes cues from a lot of Christmas tunes which at this point in the holiday season we either completely love or hate it to the point that our radio may be finding its way out the window. Listen to “Feels Like Christmas” above.
In a post on Instagram, the frontman Brendon Urie wrote a letter to fans, thanking them for all the support and love they have continuously showed the group throughout 2017.
“Thank you all for making this year my favorite so far,” begins the singer’s Instagram post. “Through the hard times and the beautiful moments, I’m glad we’re always there to lift each other up. I’m so excited for the new year and what’s to come. So to end this year right, here’s a little holiday jam I wrote for you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.”
“Feels Like Christmas” is a standalone, holiday single/gift to fans and will not be featured on any upcoming Panic! at the Disco album. A free download of the new tune can be found on Fueled By Ramen’s website here.
Last week, Panic! at the Disco released All My Friends We’re Glorious; their second live album (their first was 2008’s …Live in Chicago). The 21-track album was recorded during the band’s “Death of a Bachelor” tour which found the group touring North American from February of 2017 to April of 2017.
