Silverstein, Tonight Alive to embark on ‘Get Free Tour’ in 2018

Now that 2017 is only a couple of months away from coming to an end, Silverstein has already confirmed plans to hit the road in early 2018. On Monday (Oct. 16), the Canadian band officially announced their first tour of the new year. The trek, which has been named “The Get Free Tour,” will kick off on Jan. 19, 2018 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio and wrap up about a month-and-a-half later on March 1, 2018 at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Co-headlining the tour with Silverstein will be Australian outfit, Tonight Alive. Supporting both acts on the upcoming tour will be Virginia five-piece Broadside and Kentucky-founded Picturesque.

In addition to announcing their major tour with Tonight Alive, Silverstein has also released the music video for their latest single, “Lost Positives.” The music video for the song is very dark, but considering the lyrics for the song includes lines like “lying is letting you go” and “miserable script full of words that I won’t say,” it’s not surprising that the group decided to go in a darker direction. The almost-four-minute clip was directed by Wyatt Clough and Roger Galvez and can currently be seen above.

“Lost Positives” can be found on Silverstein’s recently released ninth studio album Dead Reflection. The record was released this past summer with the band touring behind it since it was formally announced. Silverstein isn’t the only band who will be promoting their new album on the upcoming tour. Earlier this week, Tonight Alive formally announced the release date and title for their impending new record. The new album will be titled Underworld and is set to be released on Jan. 19, 2018 through Hopeless Records.

Tickets for the upcoming tour can be found here while the complete list of tour stops can be seen below.
