Lana Del Rey announces ‘LA to the Moon’ winter tour

Lana Del Rey may have quietly released her much-anticipated new album earlier summer, but it looks like she’s going to make a major splash when it comes to touring behind it. On Thursday (Sept. 28), the California singer unveiled plans to hit the road in early 2018 in support of her fifth studio album, Lust for Life. The upcoming tour has been named the ‘LA to the Moon Tour’ and will find the songstress touring across North America. The tour will officially kick off on Jan. 5, 2018 at the Target Center in Minneapolis and conclude almost two months later on Feb. 28, 2018 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu.

Hitting the road alongside Del Rey for the winter tour will be Jhene Aiko and Kali Uchis. Tickets for the upcoming tour are currently available on Del Rey’s website.

Prior to hitting the road in the new year, the songstress will end her 2017 touring schedule with an appearance at the Tower of Song: A Memorial Tribute to Leonard Cohen at Montreal’s Bell Center on Nov. 6. Del Rey will join the likes of Elvis Costello, Sting, Feist, the Lumineers, and Philip Glass in Cohen’s hometown to honor the late musician on the one-year anniversary of his death.

Del Rey’s new album, Lust for Life, was released in mid-July and earned the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Prior to its release, Del Rey had unveiled several tracks from the album including “Love,” “Coachella-Woodstock in My Mind,” “Summer Bummer,” “Groupie Love,” and the title track “Lust for Life.” For now, the complete list of tour dates for the ‘LA to the Moon Tour’ can be seen below.
