A Perfect Circle announces tour plans for the fall

After being away from the music world for six years, A Perfect Circle reunited earlier this year for a handful of shows, much to the surprise and joy of their longtime fans. As it turns out, the handful of shows has now expanded to a full North American tour scheduled for later this fall. On Monday (June 19), the California-founded supergroup unveiled plans to hit the North American touring circuit later this year; their first full tour since 2011.

The 27-stop tour will kick off with the group’s appearance at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on Oct. 21 and wrap up about a month and a half later at the Matthew Knight Center in Eugene, Oregon on Dec. 4. The group’s fall itinerary will include stops at several major cities including Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, Boston, Detroit and many more. Tickets for the upcoming shows will go on sale beginning this Friday, June 23, at 10 a.m. local time here.

A Prefect circle’s upcoming tour announcement comes on the heels of the band confirming they were in the middle of working on a brand new album; their first in 13 years. According to the group, the new album, which will be released through BMG Rights Management, should see a release time frame of late 2017 or some time in 2018. A Perfect Circle’s still-untitled fourth studio album will be the follow-up to 2004’s eMOTIVe. In 2013, the group released their greatest hits compilation Three Sixty as well as a live album box set titled A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo.
