Coheed and Cambria announces ‘NEVERENDER GAIBSIV’ tour

Coheed and Cambria has returned with some good news for their fans; they’ll be hitting the road this spring! On Tuesday (Jan. 24), the New York-founded band announced plans to hit the road this spring for the “NEVERENDER GAIBSIV” tour. During the trek, the band will perform their third studio album Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness in its entirety at every show with the exception of their festival appearances (Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and Rock on the Range). The Dear Hunter, who previously hit the road with Coheed, will once again open for them during this excursion.

The tour announcement comes a day after the band posted a mysterious video online. Fans were quick to solve the cryptic message which mention a date “1/27/17” and “pw: tenspeed.” The cryptic and eerie two-minute clip can be seen above.

Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness was released in September of 2005 and  is arguably one of Coheed’s most successful record, producing hit singles such as “The Suffering” and “Welcome Home.”

Coheed fan club members will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets ahead of time with their pre-sales beginning Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. local time. General tickets sales will then begin on Friday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. local time.
