The 1975 announces massive North American spring tour

Fresh off announcing that their biggest show to date at Madison Square Gardens was sold out, the 1975 has unveiled they will hit the North American road for a spring tour before that major gig. On Monday (Jan. 23), the British band unveiled a lengthy spring tour that will find them performing at big arenas around the continent (Mexico, the United States, and Canada). The tour will kick off on April 9 at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City , Mexico and will wrap up almost two months later on June 4 at the Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Currently, the band is offering fans the chance to register so they can gain access to pre-sale tickets. The pre-sale registry is currently open and will end on Tuesday (Jan. 24) at 1 p.m. with pre-sales beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. If you miss out on getting pre-sale tickets, then there will be no need to worry because general ticket sales will begin this Friday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m.

The massive spring tour is in support of the group’s second studio album, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it which was released last February. Late last week, the group released the live music video for their latest single, “Loving Someone” which was recorded last December during their show at The O2 Arena in London. The “Loving Someone” music video can be seen above while the complete list of spring tour stops can be seen below.
