Vans Warped Tour 2017 route and dates announced

A week after announcing that the Vans Warped Tour would hit the high seas in late 2017, the people behind the annual traveling music festival have returned with more news. On Tuesday (Dec. 13), the official tour dates and cities for the 2017 Vans Warped Tour were announced. After teasing on social media last week, post-Warped Rewind at Sea, the routing for 2017 has been confirmed.

The 2017 incarnation of the punk-rock summer camp will kick off on June 16 in Seattle. After almost two months on the road, the tour will make its way back to the west coast to wrap up on Aug. 6 in Los Angeles. Sadly, this year’s itinerary does not include a single Canadian stop.

According to reports, tickets will go on sale in March with the lineup announcement being made short after that. Currently, there is no further information on how the lineup will be unveiled. Past years, festival organizers made the announcement in weekly increments titled “Warped Wednesdays.” Last year, they shook things up by hosting a live webcast from Full Sail University in Orlando where the full list of performers were announced. During the live webcast, several bands also performed.
