August Burns Red might be in the middle of their summer/fall North American tour, but that’s not stopping the group from releasing a brand new music video. On Wednesday (Sept. 14), the Pennsylvania-founded band released the music video for their latest single, “Majoring in the Minors.” The four-minute-and-15-second clip features the band performing live, showing the viewer what it’s like to be at a ABR show.
The music video made its exclusive debut over at Loudwire. The publication had a quick chat with guitarist JB Brubaker who explained how the clip came together. “The live video for ‘Majoring in the Minors’ was shot over our six-week North American spring tour with Between the Buried and Me. MITM is one of our favorite songs to play off of Found in Far Away Places and our dude, Ray Duker, did a great job of capturing the live vibes of the song.” Check out those “live vibes” below.
“Majoring in the Minors” is featured on the band’s 2015 album, Found in Far Away Places. The album, which was released through Fearless Records, earned the group a Grammy nomination in the “Best Metal Performance” category. In support of the release of their seventh studio album, August Burns Red is wrapping up their “Legends of the Fall” tour with Erra, Silent Planet, and Make Them Suffer. Tonight, the group is set to perform at Higher Ground in South Burlington, VT. The complete list of upcoming dates can be found here.
