You Me at Six drops video for ‘Night People’

A couple of weeks after unveiling plans to release a brand new record in the new year, You Me at Six has released the music video for their lead single. On Thursday (Sept, 8), the English band unleashed their music video for “Night People” which looks like it could be the darker version of the White Stripes “Seven Nation Army.” Check out the three-minute clip below.

The music video for “Night People” comes after months of teasing from the band. Earlier this year, the band had assured fans that any rumors of them splitting up were lies. Instead, they were in the process of working on their fifth studio album. In late August, they confirmed that the new album, titled Night People would arrive at the beginning of 2017. Night People will officially be released on Jan. 3, 2017 through Virgin Records. Pre-orders for the album are currently available on the band’s website.

In support of Night People‘s release, the band will hit the United Kingdom/Ireland road this fall. The upcoming tour will kick off on Oct. 4 at the O2 Academy Bristol in Bristol, United Kingdom and wrap up on Oct. 24 at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. The complete list of upcoming tour dates can be found here.

Night People is the follow-up to You Me at Six’s 2014 release, Cavalier Youth.
