Following the release of 2013’s Burnout, Anarbor decided to take a break from music for a couple of year. In early 2016, they announced that they would be releasing a new album sometime in the new year, and now we have an official date. On Thursday (June 30), the Arizona-based band announced that their third studio album will be titled Anarbor and will be out on July 29.
“It’s been three years since Anarbor has released any new material. I can proudly say that this is the most honest record we have ever released,” vocalist/bassist Slade Echeverria said. “Whether that means we grew up or decided to evolve as songwriters, this is the outcome. Our fans have been waiting, thank you for your patience. Pick up the new record July 29.”
In addition to the name and release date for the upcoming album, the group has also released two new songs from it. The first song is titled “Freaking Out” while the second track is titled “Dopamine.” Check out both songs below.
Pre-orders for Anarbor are currently available on the band’s website here. Anarbor is the follow-up to the group’s pre-break release, Burnout.
