Every Time I Die confirm new album title, release lead single

A little while back, Every Time I Die announced plans to release a brand new record some time this year. On Tuesday (June 21), the metalcore outfit confirmed the release date and title for their upcoming eighth studio album. The record will be titled Low Teens and is set to be released on Sept. 23 through Epitaph Records. In addition to the album name and release date, the group also debuted the music video for their first single, “The Coin Has a Say”

Joining forces with Rolling Stone, the Buffalo-based band released the fuzzy and gritty clip for the song. “If we were going to do a live video in a small club setting it was going to be like the ones we grew up watching,” frontman Keith Buckley explained to the publication. “The ones that made us fall in love with hardcore in the first place: blurry and blown-out footage you copied from a friend who copied it from a friend who copied it from a friend that is being regularly interrupted by clips of your family at Cedar Point because that was the footage you ‘accidentally’ taped over. Watching a bootleg was like looking out a window at a strange world. We wanted you to have that feeling back.”

Low Teens is the follow-up to the band’s 2014 release, From Parts Unknown. In support of the new album, the group will head out on the 2016 Vans Warped Tour for the complete summer trek.
