It’s been about a month since Good Charlotte released the second official single off of their upcoming new album, Youth Authority. The track, “40 Oz. Dream,” was the follow-up to “Makeshift Love” which made its grand debut in late 2015. After having fans wait a little bit between tracks, Good Charlotte has now unleashed another new song. On Thursday (May 12), the Baltimore-based band premiered the audio for their new single, “Life Changes.” “Life Changes” is the opening track on the group’s sixth studio album set to be released later this summer. Listen to the “Life Changes” audio below.
“Life Changes” will join previously released tracks “40 Oz. Dream” and “Makeshift Love” on Good Charlotte’s highly-anticipated new record, Youth Authority. Youth Authority is set to be released on July 15 through the Madden brother’s record label, MDDN and in conjunction with Kobalt. Pre-orders are currently available on the band’s website. Beginning tomorrow, those who pre-order the new record will receive instant downloads of “Life Changes,” “40 Oz. Dream,” and “Makeshift Love.”
While the five-piece have been performing sporadic shows since they announced their reunion, it was announced that they will be headlining the last couple of weeks of the 2016 Vans Warped Tour. The complete list of the dates they will perform at can be found over on Warped Tour’s website. Youth Authority is the follow-up to Good Charlotte’s 2010 release, Cardiology.
