Panic! at the Disco head to the bar for ‘Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time’

A day after releasing a 30-second teaser for their brand new music video, Panic! at the Disco has unveiled the complete clip. On Tuesday (May 10), the Las Vegas-based band premiered the music video for their latest single, “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time.” The clip begins with a woman getting ready for what appears like a night out on the town.

She gets a ride to a bar where she encounters frontman Brendon Urie who happens to be sitting down the bar from her. The singer and the protagonist are just sitting there when he decides to head on over and hit on her. Things don’t exactly go right with the unnamed woman slapping Urie in the face, but after a couple of drinks, things seem to warm up between them as they head to the dance floor.

Let’s just say, Urie should have chosen to hit on another woman at the bar. Check out the music video for “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time” below.

“Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time” is featured on Panic’s recently released record, Death of a Bachelor. In support of the new album, the group announced back in January that they would be heading out on a co-headlining tour with Weezer and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. The summer trek is scheduled to kick off on June 10 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX and wrap up on Aug. 6 at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. The complete list of tour dates can be found here.
