A week after releasing their comeback single, Blink-182 is back with another new track. On Friday (May 6), the pop-punk band released a short clip of a new song title “Built This Pool.” To get fans even more excited for their upcoming summer release, they announced that the song would be available for free on their website. The full version of the new track can currently be streamed below while the free download of it can be found here.
“Built This Pool” will join lead single “Bored to Death” on Blink-182’s highly-anticipated new album, California. The new record will hit stores (digitally and physically) on July 1 and will be released through BMG. For those massive Blink fans, pre-orders for the record are currently available on their website as well. California is the follow-up to 2011’s Neighborhoods.
In support of the impending record, Blink-182 will be heading out on a massive summer tour beginning July 22 in San Diego. The tour, which was announced last week in conjunction with the premiere of their new single, will feature A Day to Remember, All Time Low, The All-American Rejects, and DJ Spider opening up for the pop-punk icons. As it has been explained, The All-American Rejects and All Time Low will alternate opening for Blink while A Day to Remember and DJ Spider will play the complete tour. The tour dates can be seen here.
