Surprise! Say Anything have released a brand new album. On Thursday (Feb. 4), frontman Max Bemis revealed that the band will be releasing a brand new album, with no build up or anything. Instead, he thought it would be a good idea to go all “Bey” and surprise the fan base with a new album. In a lengthy letter, which can be read here, the singer explain how the new record, I Don’t Think It Is, came to be and how it would differ from their previous work including their last album, Hebrews.
In addition to the new album’s name, Bemis and company are also giving their fans the opportunity to listen to the new album before its official release. The stream of the new record can be heard below.
I Don’t Think It Is is set to be released on Friday, Feb. 5 through Equal Vision Records. The band announced back in January that they will be hitting the road this spring. Now that a new record has been announced/released, it makes a lot of sense why they would go on a tour, randomly in the spring. The complete list of upcoming tour dates can be seen here.
