The 1975 Drop Video for “UGH!”

The 1975 are back with a brand new music video. Last week, the band premiered “UGH!,” the second single off of their impending sophomore record. Now, the band has released the official music video for the track. On Friday (Dec. 18), the United Kingdom-based band unveiled their minimalistic video for “UGH!.”

The new clip is a departure from the one that was previously released for “Love Me.” “Love Me” seemed to be more of an indulgent video with the band playing up all the indulgent, glamorous, rock star lifestyle. “UGH!” finds the band mostly playing on a black stage with cool lights lighting them up. Simple stuff. Check out the video for “UGH!” below.

“UGH!” made its official worldwide debut last week on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show. The track is now the second single off of their upcoming new record, I Like It When You Sleep, For You are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It. The sophomore effort is scheduled to be released on Feb. 26, 2016.

In support of it, the band will be hitting the road in the new year. The North American leg of their tour will kick off on April 18, 2016 at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. After being on the road for a little over a month, it will wrap up on May 25, 2016 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, MN.

The group is currently wrapping up their last couple of tour dates for 2015. The trek will wrap up on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Roseland Theater in Portland, OR. The complete list of 2016 tour dates can be seen here.
