5 Seconds of Summer Drop “Hey Everybody”

5 Seconds of Summer have returned with a brand new song off of their upcoming album. On Friday (Oct. 9) the band headed over to BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw, where they premiered their new single, “Hey Everybody.” “Hey Everybody” will join lead single “She’s Kinda Hot” on their sophomore album, Sounds Good Feels Good set to be released some time next year. You can listen to the new track over at Spotify or below.

In addition to the premiere of the new song, the four-piece also revealed that they will be performing at this year’s BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards alongside Nick Jonas, Little Mix, and their friends in All Time Low on Nov. 8. But even that announcement wasn’t all. The group also revealed that they will be hitting the touring circuit once again early next year. At the time of their announcement, only dates in the United Kingdom and Ireland were confirmed.

Before they can get to their new tour in 2016, the band will be performing at selected dates of the “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour.” Their stops will include Dallas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, and Tampa. Tickets for those shows are currently available for purchase.

While at the BBC Radio 1 show, the group also gave fans a surprise performance by covering a Bring Me the Horizon song. Check out the video of 5 Seconds of Summer covering Bring Me the Horizon’s “Drown” off of the British band’s recently released album, That’s the Spirit.

Sounds Good Feels Good is the follow-up to 5 Seconds of Summer’s debut, self-titled record which was released back in 2013. As of now, there has been no official confirmation as to when the record will be released.
