Knuckle Puck is giving fans a lot of good news for a Monday.

To begin, the Chicago-based band has released the music video for one of the track off of their new album Copacetic, “True Contrite.”

When asked by Billboard, who exclusively premiered the music video earlier in the day, about how the music video was made, guitarist Kevin Maida revealed that it was a painstaking process, but well worth it in the end.

“The making of the ‘True Contrite’ music video was one of the most painstaking, rewarding experiences ever,” said Maida.

“We basically had to shoot two music videos, one with the walls blank, then manually tape all the Polaroids to the wall, and then shoot everything again with all the Polaroids on the wall. It took a long time, but the video came out perfect.”

In addition to the new music video, the band has also announced a month and a half long tour in the Fall in support of Copacetic which was released on July 31 through Rise Records. Heading on the road alongside them will be Seaway, Sorority Noise, and Head North.

“When putting together a lineup for the headline, it was basically a no-brainer to have Seaway on it,” explained Maida about the lineup for the group’s first headlining tour.

“Our first tour ever was with Seaway, so it only seemed right to put some of our greatest friends on our first headline tour. Head North and Sorority Noise are some of our favorite bands both consist of truly genuine people. It’s going to be a great fall.”

The Fall tour will kick off on Oct. 14 at the Hard Luck Bar in Toronto and wrap up on Nov. 21 at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland.

Pre-sales for the tour are currently available on the band’s website. For the complete list of tour dates, scroll down.
