Can you believe that New Found Glory and Yellowcard have never gone out on a proper United States tour together?
You would think at one point it would have happened since they come out around the same time and have the same kind of fan base, but surprisingly, no.
If you’re currently telling the screen in front of you “no, that can’t be true,” turns out that it is because it came straight from the mouth of Yellowcard frontman, Ryan Key.
Last night, both bands released a joint video which shows Key playing cards with New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert when he points out his realization.
Nonchalantly, they agree to go on tour together and the rest is history.
As of now, there have been no official tour dates revealed, but as the video points out, Tigers Jaw will be their “special guest” for the U.S. trek.
We’re going to assume the tour will take place once Gilbert and his band, What’s Eating Gilbert, wrap up their Summer tour with Bayside’s Anthony Raneri.
Yellowcard released their latest studio album Lift A Sail last October, the same exact day New Found Glory released their latest record, Resurrection.
