Watch the Foo Fighters Rock a Tiny Venue for Record Store Day

It came as no surprise to anyone that this year’s honor of Record Store Day Ambassador was given to Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, because come on, that guy lives and breathes rock and roll.

In honor of the music holiday, Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters decided to go to a small record store in Niles, OH and give the residence of the town a one of a kind performance at their neighborhood record store, Record Connection.

Now, a month after the performance which took place on April 18, the band have released a short, barely four-minute long, behind-the-scenes look at what went on that day.

Footage from the video includes interviews with fans and Record Connection owner Jeff Burke. According to Burke, and his brother, their father wanted him to open an ice cream shop. Instead, he went ahead and opened a record store which has been in business in the same shopping center for 32 years!

Now, that’s something.

You also get to see how much equipment the Foo Fighters packed into that small space, that even Burke was surprised/impressed by it.

Check out the video below.

The Foo Fighters are currently across the pond finishing up their European tour dates. They’ll return home after their performance at Glastonbury at the end of June.
