Veruca Salt Announce Original Line-Up is Back, New Album to Be Released

The day started out with Veruca Salt announcing they would be releasing a new album later this Summer as well as giving their longtime followers the cover art and tracklist for Ghost Notes. They quickly followed up the news by debuting the lead single from the record, a song titled “Laughing in the Sugar Bowl.”

But things didn’t end there this morning; they also casually announced that the original line-up featuring Nina Gordon, Louise Post, Steve Lack, and Jim Shapiro was back in action.

Now, several hours have passed since the first wave of news was made and the newly “reformed” Chicago group have released another new song, the opening track from the record titled “The Gospel According to Saint Me,” as well as a handful of tour dates to coincide with the release of the band’s fifth studio album.

We know, there’s a lot to wrap your head around.

Instead of going on and on, check out the two new songs, the cover art and tracklist for the new album, as well as the Summer tour dates below.
