It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Utah’s Neon Trees, but now, they have returned with a brand new song.
After dropping hints on social media about a brand new song coming out really soon, the electro-pop group have given fans the track; a song titled “Songs I Can’t Listen To.”
The track is definitely dedicated to those heartbroken folks who can’t listen to certain songs that they used to like because it reminds them of the ones who did the heartbreaking.
Come on, we’ve all been there.
Check out the new track below.
Last year, the band had to cancel a previously planned and announced tour after bassist Branden Campbell had to undergo open-heart surgery for a valve replacement. The doctors requested that Campbell slow down on his rigorous touring schedule, so instead of replacing him, the band just cancelled the complete tour.
But now, eight months later, it looks like things are good enough for the full band to head back on tour because they will be heading out on their “An Intimate Night Out with Neon Trees Tour” beginning on June 6 at the Showbox in Seattle.
