The holidays are right around the corner and considering how most families spend their time watching Peanuts reruns, it’s kind of genius that the people behind the upcoming Peanuts Movie would release a new trailer for the film at this time.
Today, Blue Sky Studios shared another trailer for the CGI-version of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang titled The Peanuts Movie. Fitting with the holiday theme, the new trailer is set during Christmastime as is evident with Woodstock and his family (all dressed with Santa hats, mind you) decorating Snoopy’s home with Christmas decorations including lights, a wreath, candy canes, snowflakes and much more.
Check out the almost two minute-long teaser for the upcoming film due out in 2015.
In a coincidence, which we are sure was not done by accident, the Peanuts gang will be celebrating the 65th anniversary of the comic strip’s launch in 2015. But that’s not all for the gang; A Charlie Brown Christmas, the Christmastime staple will be turning 50 in 2015. As for the film, the last we heard it would be released on Nov. 6, 2015, but now going by the teaser, it appear a December 2015 release date might be in its future.
