After weeks of rumors and a confirmation from American Horror Story: Freak Show creator, Ryan Murphy, the highly anticipated Lana Del Rey cover has happened.
Earlier this week, a snippet of the “Gods and Monsters” cover by series star, Jessica Lange was leaked and quickly taken down, but fans of American Horror Story didn’t have to wait that long because last night’s episode of the Freak Show gave us the long awaited cover and it was pretty awesome.

Murphy started a tidal wave of freaking out when he confirmed that Lange would be performing Del Rey’s cover on Twitter a few weeks when a fan asked him a question about it and he told them to keep an eye out for upcoming musical performances.
Lange’s cover of Del Rey will be the third song covered featured in this season’s incarnation of the hit FX show. Lange previously covered David Bowie’s “Life on Mars” in the season premiere dressed like Bowie in a powder blue tux while co-star Sarah Paulson covered Fiona Apple’s 90s hit “Criminal” during last week’s episode.
