Bring Me the Horizon were set to release a new single in December, but it looks like that was just a tentative release date because the band have unveiled the song a month and a half ahead of time.
Originally, the new song titled “Drown” was set to be released on Dec. 7, but due to no reason at all, BMTH decided to give fans the chance to hear the track, and watch the music video for it, well ahead of time. Normally, when a band decides to stream a song ahead of time, they usually due so a week before the scheduled date, not a month and a half before.
But then again, we don’t think the British band really cares about that. Check out the music video for “Drown” below.
There’s no word on where this song will appear, though a fan did point out that there’s a chance it might appear on the BBC’s re-scoring of Drive. The track is currently available for pre-orders on iTunes and will officially be out on Dec. 7.
Bring Me the Horizon recently wrapped up a Fall tour as a supporting act on A Day to Remember’s Parks and Devastation Tour. After a little break, the band will be heading home to England to play Wembley Arena in London on Dec. 5 with support from Sleepwave, Issues, and Young Guns.
Good way to end 2014.
