Coldplay’s sixth studio album, Ghost Stories will hit store tomorrow with new tracks since 2011’s Mylo Xyloto. Even though the album is new, the band gave fan a one week head start, letting them stream the album on iTunes Radio.
According to frontman Chris Martin, the new album is a lot more personal that their previous ones, but when your life isn’t going to well with a looming divorce, writing your feelings in songs might be the best cure.
In honor of the release, the group were given a primetime special by NBC titled, Coldplay: Ghost Stories where they performed many of their new tracks as well as some of their classics. The hour-long program was pre-recorded back in March in Los Angeles in front of an 800-person audience; intimate setting considering they were playing arenas during their last tour in support of Mylo Xyloto.
While we do not have the full one hour of the show, you can check put some of the highlights of the night below.
