New year, new album?
That’s what it’s starting to look like for Foster the People. Last night, the band released a teaser for fans on Twitter to get them pumped for the new album. the follow-up to 2011’s hit album, Torches was due to be released back in November, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it was indefinitely postponed.
The teaser features what appear to be music video clips, gives fans the first taste of the new album, or what we assume to be from the new album. Information has been scarce about the album, so much so that there isn’t even an official album titled yet; it’s still being referred to as their as-yet-untitled sophomore full-length.
The song in the video is called “Coming of Age” and to anyone that might have attended a Foster the People show recently might have been privy to the track live. Other songs that have been revealed to be on the new album, as by the band and their live performance in 2013 are titled “Nevermind,” “Level Up,” and “Fire Escape.”
