Kings of Leon Announce Second Leg of Tour

kol

Kings of Leon have finally announced the tour dates for the second leg of their Mechanical Bull tour.

Previously, it was reported that the band would stay on the road until early March in support of their recently released, and sixth album, Mechanical Bull. The second leg of the tour will include Local Natives as an opening act and start right back up on March 18 with a show at the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, Arizona.

The tour will then proceed to go through the US and Canada including stops in Saskatoon, Edmonton and Calgary before calling it a day at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 11th.

Fort hose excited about the new additions to the 2014 tour, tickets will go on sale this Friday, Dec. 13 on Livenation’s website. But if your city has not popped up yet on the tour schedule, hold out a little longer because additional tour dates will soon be revealed as well.

These additional tour dates come in handy as well because the Southern-rockers are scheduled to take the stage on Saturday Night Live on Saturday, Dec. 14 and then appear on Ellen on Dec. 16th.

The extended tour dates just back up the claims that the band are in a better place than they were a few years ago when they cancelled their 2011 tour mid-way due to some internal issues within the band.

“It was how we sounded when we started playing as a band, excited to plug in,” drummer Nathan Followill told Rolling Stone about their latest album.

For now, check out the updated tour dates for the Mechanical Bull Tour.
