Michelle Obama Working on Hip Hop Album


Lawyer, writer, First Lady…Hip Hop artist?

Well, maybe not, but First Lady Michelle Obama will definitely be working on a hip hop album, but before you think it’s full of sick lyrics and certain things that are not lady like, then don’t think too much about it. The album will be full of 19 different artists with song all having to do with healthy living; one of the biggest campaigns she has worked on since entering the White House.

The album titled, Songs For A Healthier America will feature 19 different tracks, and many artist with song titles like “Veggie Luv” and “Get up, Sit Up.”

The album will be produced by Hip Hop Public Health and the Partnership for a Healthier America and is scheduled to be released on September 30 for free download. Blink-182’s Travis Barker will be working on a song titled, “Salad Bar” while Run DMC, Ashanti, Jordin Sparks and many others have songs to promote healthy eating habits.
