Jon Bon Jovi Calls Out Justin Bieber

Looks like even musicians find Justin Bieber to be as obnoxious as the rest of us.

While speaking to the London Evening Standard, the rock icon had a few choice words to say to the pop star about showing up over three hours late for this show at the O2 Arena in London a few months back.

Some may have thought that the simple ‘apology’ Bieber issued through Twitter would have been enough especially when he blamed the whole issue on technical difficulties, Bon Jovi, being in the business long before Bieber was even a twinkle in his mother’s eye, could smell a lie a mile away.

“Every generation has guys that [show up late to their own concerts], none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives—or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.”

Bon Jovi continued, “Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool—you’re an assh-le. Go to f-ckin’ work!”

At Sunday’s Billboard Awards, Bieber acted like his usual bratty ways when the audience booed him when he went up to accept the Millstone Award. But no matter what, it looks like he’s somehow still getting what he wants because he won several awards on Sunday.

Bon Jovi is currently on tour minus guitarist, Richie Sambora who left the tour citing “personal reasons” for his abrupt departure. Rolling Stone magazine, on the other hand, had reported that Sambora has left the tour to enter rehab for substance abuse.
