Nine Inch Nails Release Documentary Online

Nine Inch Nails

Nine Inch Nails frontman, Trent Reznor recently announced that his band, with a brand new line-up, will be heading out on a massive tour.

Now, Reznor has released a 75 minute documentary which shows the behind-the-scenes of NIN’s 1994-1996 “Self Destruct” tour. The documentary can be found at the band’s Tumblr page which before was only found in the 1997 Closure VHS (yes, I did say VHS). In a disclaimer like note, Reznor warns that the video contains some NSFW content as well as special appearances by Marilyn Manson and David Bowie.

Reznor also posted another rarity that many fans of the industrial band would like, an acoustic performance of “The Becoming” from the band’s 1994 release, The Downward Spiral. The performance was filmed at Nothing Studios in New Orleans in 2002 with Trent Reznor, Danny Lohner, and Jerome Dillon and was directed by Rob Sheridan, according to the note attached.

But that didn’t end Rezonr’s generous gift for the fans. He also included two more videos from the Still series, “Something I Can Never Have” and “Gone Still.”

The new, revamped Nine Inch Nails is slated to start touring in the Summer, with a US arena tour starting in the Fall and a full world tour starting in 2014.
